Baptism: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of the month at 1:30 pm, by appointment. Stop by the parish office to pick up a packet. (Parents and godparents are required to attend a pre-baptismal class.)
First Communion and First Reconciliation: This two year program typically starts in the first grade. (Consecutive formation years are required.)
Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) and Special Sacramental Preparation (SSP): These intensive sacramental preparation programs are for older children and youth who wish to receive Baptism and/or First Communion and First Reconciliation. Contact Faith Formation for further information.
Confirmation:
Youth: A two year program, starting as early as ninth grade. (Consecutive formation years are required.)
Adults: Intensive classes meet on Tuesdays, November – January, 7:15 PM – 9:00 PM. Confirmation is celebrated at Christ the Light Cathedral in January.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA): This intensive program prepares adults to be received into the Church generally at the Easter Vigil (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).
Matrimony: Diocesan policy requires that couples contact the parish office so that arrangements be made at least six months in advance of a proposed wedding date to begin the marriage preparation process.
Anointing of the Sick: Contact the parish office prior to surgery, during hospital stays, and for the homebound or those in extended care facilities.
